I am from Blackpool, Lancashire born and bred but have lived in
Leighton Buzzard longer than I lived in Blackpool.

I was a Disc Jockey in Blackpool working in various night clubs as the
resident or guest DJ in and around the town playing all types of music
but as you can imagine Northern Soul and Disco Soul was very popular
‘Up North’. When I initially moved down to London I joined up with a
group of guys who had a mobile disco company where we played at
numerous venues in and around London.

I moved out to Leighton Buzzard towards the end of the 1970’s. I have
been in the Exhibition Industry for 46 years for which I have been lucky
enough to have traveled the world looking after the stands that we
designed and built for our clients across a range of industries.

I was a Redcoat at Butlins in the early 70’s,

I have been a registered
football referee for 40 years and I have been a volunteer driver with the
LBVPT (Leighton Buzzard Voluntary Passenger Transport) since August
2019. Now trying my hand at Radio Presenting.
