New Kids Show now with World Stories

Leighton Buzz Radio’s new kids show, Only Kidz Aloud has proved very popular with kids and parents alike as the novelty of the first week of home schooling ends.
The show is put together by the volunteer presenters of Leighton Buzz Radio and their aim is simple to give parents and children a fun break.
Only Kidz Aloud includes, a daily scavenger hunt, jokes, a section where parents can show kids their dance moves and now stories too.
The show goes out at 2pm every week day, station manager Andrena said
2pm seemed like a good time, home schooling is mostly happening in the morning, you have the build up to lunch and then parent’s energy slumps, kids tire of their parent’s voice or the grown ups simply need to get on with other things. The show ends with a tip for something to do after the show and so as well as half an hour of entertainment hopefully we keep them busy for a bit longer.
The show has had a great boost as Leighton Buzzard’s children’s charity KidsOut have allowed readings from their World Stories program.
WorldStories is a growing collection of stories from around the world. The collection includes retold traditional tales and new short stories in the languages most spoken by UK children.
The presenters at Leighton Buzz Radio are enjoying reading the stories and in particular developing some of the character voices – some with more success than others!
Children around the Leighton Buzzard area have been sending in the pictures of their activities.
