This week Spotlight on: Impetus – a high energy gig at The Crooked Crow Bar

Impetus, a hard-core metal band, will be performing at The Crooked Crow Bar on October 24, 2020.

Originating in Leighton Buzzard, the band consists of four members: Smithy on vocals and guitar; Jim on bass guitar; Thunderstud also on guitar, and JBK on the drums.

Describing themselves as ‘a new take on old school thrash metal’, the gig will include some of the band’s own heavy metal, original songs – as well as a few interesting covers thrown into the mix too.

The gig will comprise of two sets from Impetus and promises to be a fantastic evening, full of high energy from this local band. Of course, it will all be socially distanced and curfewed fun, and the band are very excited to performing live again!

The Crooked Crow Bar, who are hosting the event, is based in the centre of Leighton Buzzard and have been open since January 2020. Primarily an events bar, they host several different music events, quizzes, and immersive theatre. They have also recently released their Winter Drinks menu, including a Cluck Berry cocktail and Hazelnut Hot Co-Crow.
