Leighton Live Carter-Donovan live music from this local duo at The Golden Bell

Carter-Donovan, will be performing at The Golden Bell on November 1, 2020. The duo made up of Alison Carter and John Donovan, both have roots in the West End and will be performing on the keyboards and vocals for this gig.

Alison’s vocal style has been influenced by a range of different musical genres, and her extensive career has spanned from London’s West End and world tours, to television and jazz clubs, even performing for the Queen and Princess Diana.  John is an accomplished pianist and musical director, with over twenty years’ experience playing for a range of artists and musical genres, including Dame Shirley Bassey and Brian May.

The gig at The Golden Bell this week will include some retro, funky covers and classics – the perfect accompaniment to a Sunday afternoon in the pub’s garden.

This live music event is part of Sound-Garden Sundays and will take place in the heated marquee at The Golden Bell.  A friendly, town centre pub, The Golden Bell has regular live music, DJs and other events in the garden area, with its own Sound-Garden bar. They offer a range of ales, craft beers, gins, soft drinks and coffee.
